Loan Payment Calculator

What is a Loan Payment?

A loan payment is the fixed monthly amount covering both principal and interest to fully repay a loan by end of term.

Formula

M = P × [r(1+r)^n] / [(1+r)^n − 1]
P = principal, r = monthly rate, n = total payments
Example: $25,000 at 5.5% for 5 years → Monthly rate = 0.004583, n = 60 → Monthly payment ≈ $477.15

Balloon Loan Payment Calculator

What is a Balloon Loan?

A balloon loan has smaller monthly payments during the term and one large lump-sum payment at the end.

Formula

M = (Loan − Balloon) × [r(1+r)^n] / [(1+r)^n − 1]
Example: $25,000 at 5.5%, 5 years, $10,000 balloon → Monthly ≈ $286.29, then $10,000 at end

Debt Payoff Calculator

What is a Debt Payoff Calculator?

Tells you how many months to pay off your debt and total interest paid based on your monthly payment and interest rate.

Formula

n = −log(1 − (Debt × r / Payment)) / log(1 + r)
r = monthly rate
Example: $10,000 at 12%, paying $300/month → Paid off in 37 months, ~$1,100 in interest

Lease Payment Calculator

What is a Lease Payment Calculator?

Estimates your monthly vehicle or equipment lease payment based on depreciation and finance charges.

Formula

Monthly = Depreciation Fee + Finance Fee
Depreciation = (Cap Cost − Residual) / Term
Finance = (Cap Cost + Residual) × Money Factor
Example: $30,000 car, $18,000 residual, 36 months, 0.0025 MF → $453.33/month

Loan Amortization Calculator

What is Loan Amortization?

Shows your fixed monthly payment and how each payment is split between principal and interest over time.

Formula

M = P × r × (1+r)^n / ((1+r)^n − 1)
r = monthly rate, n = term in months
Example: $25,000 at 5% for 60 months → Monthly payment ≈ $472.88

Rent vs Buy Office Calculator

What is the Rent vs Buy Office Calculator?

Compares total costs of renting versus buying office space over the loan term to help you decide which is more cost-effective.

Example: $300K office, $60K down, 20 years at 5%, $2,500/month rent → Buying saves ~$219,698 over 20 years

Savings Goal Calculator

What is a Savings Goal Calculator?

Calculates how much you need to save each month to reach a target amount, factoring in compound interest.

Formula

P = FV × (r / ((1+r)^n − 1))
FV = goal, r = monthly rate, n = months
Example: $20,000 goal in 60 months at 5% → Save $293.77/month
